Districts have received an update from the cyber crimes investigation. It has been determined that there is not a credible threat to our district and Decatur Police Department has confidence in their investigation. Decatur PD has issued a statement late last evening with more details of the investigation.
The district will run a regular schedule today. We will continue to have law enforcement presence as usual.
Again, thank you for your cooperation and information reported. All information was shared with affected districts and law enforcement.
If any parent feels uneasy not sending their child it will be excused. Please be sure to contact the school your child attends.

There is a Facebook post stating a threat to our district and many others including Decatur, WL, Sangamon Valley, and MTZ. All local, county, and state law enforcement are working together. There has been no update from law enforcement if this is credible or not, but it will be taken seriously. Everyone will be informed as we get information.
Student safety is our number one priority, and we will continue to investigate with law enforcement.
