Governor Pritzger has extended the mandatory shutdown until Tuesday, April 7th, 2020. School is now to resume on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020. Updates as we move forward will take place over the weekend.

Okaw Valley COVID-19 update for Monday, March 16, 2020.
The junior class chicken dinner fundraiser is on for tonight. Pick up is 4:30-6:30. Pick up is drive-thru so please wait in line and do not get out of car. We will get your tickets and bring to you. Please enter the north lot to keep proper traffic flow. Pickup is the bus garage.
Reminder: Today is a Teachers Institute Day. There is no school. Starting Tuesday, March 17, Okaw Valley CUSD #302 and all of its facilities will be closed until Tuesday, March 31. All school activities are also cancelled during this mandated closure.

From the IHSA: If you temporarily suspend your spring season, athletes should not practice or compete with their non-school (club/travel) teams or they will be ineligible for the high school team when the suspension is lifted. Please be aware!

The IESA has suspended the middle school volleyball season. This means tonight’s 8th grade volleyball game has been postponed. The IESA has stated they may be rescheduled, but it is up in the air until further notice.
