If the "feels like" temperature is 25 or above, students will be outside for recess. Please plan ahead when sending your student to school! Dress accordingly!

School will be closed Wednesday - January 30th 2019, & Thursday - January 31st 2019 due to the predicted wind chill warning. We believe there are too many variables at this time to wait for the night/day of to make a decision. This allows parents and guardians the opportunity to make arrangements for child care. No school for Okaw Valley Wednesday or Thursday this week due to forcasted temperatures.
Kiddie camp changes will be sent home in a note tomorrow due to no school.
SPECIAL REQUEST...when dropping off students at OVES, please drop them off as close to the Northeast set of doors as possible. Use caution!
Project Help/EC bus is running a bit late for drop off this morning. Please be patient.

OVES Fall Festival Fun
Power has been restored.
From the Village of Bethany. We wanted to let people know that we are experiencing power outages on the north end of town. We have been made aware and our guys are out right now working to get it going again! Thank you to those who called with concerns. We are doing our best to address this as quickly as possible! If you have an emergency, feel free to contact the village at 665-3351! Any emergency contact from the school will be made through Remind from Mrs. VanderBurgh our phones are not working.
Don't forget to send Yankee Candle orders to school in the morning!!
