The Sullivan Athletic Boosters would like to invite parents and fans to support the football team Friday night, as they make the trip to Arthur to play in the Conference Championship game against ALAH. Everyone is invited to decorate their vehicles and follow the team bus to the game. We ask that you meet at the high school parking lot at 4:30 to send off the players. The bus will be decorated and ready to roll out at 4:50. Fans can caravan their way to the game!

Congratulations to the following students on their acceptance to the ILMEA District 5 ensembles: Senior Band: Ames Drollinger Junior Band: Eden Hagerman Both students prepared an audition composed of etudes and scales. The audition materials are not easy and this is a huge accomplishment!

JV and Varsity volleyball both drop matches to Meridian tonight as JV falls in two and Varsity falls in three. The girls have two road matches to end the year before hosting the IHSA regional on Monday against Dieterich at 6:00.

The Okaw Valley National Honor Society is holding a canned food drive to benefit local food banks. See the flyer for more information. #YNotOV

Keegan Gibbons and Alex Ravellette are on the lake for the OVHS Bass Fishing Team today and tomorrow in the Lake Decatur Fall Frenzy. Good luck boys! #YNotOV

Next week will be picture retakes at Okaw Valley. Tuesday, 10/17 will be at OVHS and OVES. Thursday, 10/19 at OVMS. There is no fee for retakes, but a parent note is required with a reason the the retake.

OV hosted the Section 16 FFA Land Use contest today. Thank you to Karen Lane and Jim Brewer for the use of their property. Special thank you goes out to the Moultrie County Soil and Water Conservation for judging the event and providing our students with a meal.
