Welcome to the Superintendent's Home Page!!  It is my hope that you will find our website a good source of information about our district and individual buildings and classes.  We are beginning the process of creating our new website and will continually be adding things daily so please check periodically for new updates and information.

                                                    Strategic Planning Process

 We are currently in the process of establishing district goals and objectives for our school district.  These goals and objectives will serve as the driving force as we work together to make our school district the best it can be possibly be for our students. To begin the strategic planning process, we distributed surveys to parents and teachers at all four schools as well as surveying all of the students grades 6-12.  The next step was the formation of 8 separate focus groups consisting of students, teachers, parents, and community members.  In these groups, information was gathered about strengths and positives in our district as well as needed improvements.  From the smaller groups, we formed a 16 person strategic planning committee that met with myself and several members of the board to further clarify the possible goals and objectives for our school district.  The next step in the process will be for the board and administration to meet together and use all of the data and input collected to form our specific goals and objectives.

Once the goals and objectives are formed, we will mail a brochure home to everyone in both communities as well as posting them on the website.  Additionally, each month in my newsletter I will update our current progress. 

It is truly our hope that the school district goals and objectives will truly be a driving force for improvement in our district and will not simply be a document that sits on a shelf and collects dust.  Keep watching for the goals and objectives to be posted on the website and a huge thank you to all those for your help in this process and your continued support for our schools and students!!
