Meeting opened at 7:05 pm. Thank You to the parents that waited outside until the doors were unlocked.

The Feb. PTO Minutes were reviewed and accepted by Michelle Lybarger and 2nd by Jennifer Bland.
Bitty Ball concessions will not be replenished. Last week of Bitty Ball is March 12th – we will be trying to sell out.
The PTO would like to thank Jennifer Bland for her 5 years of running the concessions for Bitty Ball. A great amount of work and preparation goes into running the stand and getting volunteers for each Saturday for all the games.
May 27th will be the date for the “Fun Day” at Crowder Park. Andi McArdle will be in charge of getting the volunteers lined up.
Teacher Appreciation Week will be May 2-6 with the lunch being served by the PTO on the 5th.
Schoolkidz Packs sign off lists will be sent out to the teachers for their input on what needs to be in the packs for next year. When received back the PTO will then send the lists off for the pre-order to Schoolkidz.
Next year K thru 4th grades will be in Bethany. A vote was taken during the PTO meeting to whether the PTO should include the 5th grade in Findlay. Vote passed to keep the PTO only for the K thru 4th grades in Bethany.
Mrs. Duis had asked the PTO for assistants in paying for the OVES trip to the Little Theater on the Square’s performance of “Seussical” on April 13th . The cost would be $785.00 for 175 seats. A vote was taken and the motion was denied due to the amounts spent between the OVES & OVIS. The PTO is trying to keep things fair between the schools.
The Post Prom committee has approached the PTO for a donation for the activities after prom. All was in agreement for donating $50.00.
The PTO has received suggestions for the Fall Fundraiser. The PTO will be sending out a note to the parents for their vote between “Yankee Candle”, “Just Jewelry”, “Pampered Chef” and “Market Day”. This is so the PTO can decide which company to go with – per most votes from parents. The note will also contain the profit %’s for each company. Last year Market Day profits came to $4614.17 – with 50% profit on each sale. This is tabled till April’s PTO meeting.
During the next PTO meeting we will be nominating officers for the next year. So if anyone is interested in becoming part of the PTO – Please attend the next meeting.
Meeting closed at 7:55 pm.
NEXT PTO MEETING WILL BE ON APRIL 13th @ OVIS FINDLAY 7PM.
