The Regional Softball Championship game time @ Windsor on (5/22/15) has been changed to 3:30. Bus will leave @ 2:15. We will play ALAH.

Varsity Boys Basketball Player/Parent Meeting - MAY 21st in the OVHS Gym @ 6:00. CANCELLED - Moved to 5/28 @ 6:00 in the HS Cafateria

SPORTS Physical Day (JUNE 8th @ OVHS, 3:00-5:00)

Physicals will be offered by Decatur Memorial Hospital. They are $25 and checks can be made out to DMH. These physicals do not count as incoming freshman physicals so freshman need to have their physicals done by their physician.

Former 2014 graduate, Emily Scott, has been selected as a reporter for the Daily Illini. The paper is housed on the University of Illinois Campus. Congrats Emily!!!

Sam Dagenhardt attends SEC Youth Day.

After the Youth Day was over all the students representing SEC were interviewed for a chance to go on the Youth to Washington Tour, which takes place June 12-19. Of the 14 students, two were chosen as alternates and two were selected to represent the cooperative in Washington D.C. in June. Brayton Wooters from Shelbyville High School and Samantha Degenhardt from Okaw Valley High School were selected as winners of the trip. Congrats Sam, we are very proud of you!! Senior

Abigail Vander Burgh

Abigail is the daughter of John and Heidi Vander Burgh.  She is a member of the Spanish Club, NHS, Girls’ Varsity Club, Fusion and is Secretary of Student Council, Vice President of SADD and President of Science Club.  When she is not in school she enjoys shopping and watching movies.  Her future plans include attending Illinois State where she hopes to get her Business Administration degree.

Seth Yeakel

Seth is the son of John and Noelle Yeakel.  Seth is a member of Student Council, NHS and Scholastic Bowl.  He enjoys playing basketball and video games with his friends.  He also enjoys reading.  His future plans include going to college but is undecided about his major.

Important new Student Accident Insurance
