September 19 - The Girl Scouts of Central Illinois need you!  We have opportunities for high school girls for community service hours throughout the school year! Many of our local and area troop leaders are looking for an extra pair of hands, eyes, feet and ears.  If you have any or all of those qualifications, please contact us and we will be happy to pair you up with a local Girl Scout troop.  You would assist the troop leaders in carrying out various crafts, activities, songs, games or field trips. Troop meeting dates and times vary per troop, so we would hopefully be able to work out something that fits into your schedule.  Troop meetings usually last about an hour.  Your time commitment would be anywhere from 2 to 4 hours per month, and you could sign up for 3 up to 6 months.
